Questions people ask

Is it free?

Yes. Rooms, games, voice, cameras and watching together are free, with no time limits. Hangz Plus is an optional subscription that adds extra looks, faster token earning and a Plus badge. Everything free stays free.

Do my friends need Netflix or Prime too?

Yes, for those services each person watches on their own account; Hangz just keeps everyone at the same moment. YouTube works for anyone.

Does Hangz record my camera or voice?

No. Camera and mic are off until you turn them on, go live only to the people in your room, and are never recorded or stored.

Is the poker real money?

No. Chips are play money. They can't be bought, sold or cashed out.

What are tokens?

You earn tokens by hanging out in rooms, and spend them to unlock outfits and accessories for your character. They can't be bought or cashed out.

How old do I have to be?

Hangz is for adults 18 and up.
